One month ago today...

... my beautiful daughter Fu Pei Mu was placed in my arms for the first time ever and life as I knew it changed forever! I fell instantly in love and my life has never been the same since! I am TRULY BLESSED to call this amazing child my daughter!


Then: Fu Pei Mu, became: Ruby Cate Pei Mu and all my family & friends & everyone in my life have truly embraced her as my child. Every morning I wake up & slowly creep into her bedroom to see her quietly sitting up in bed, playing with her toys, and as she sees me in the doorway, she turns to me & smiles. I stare into the eyes of my daughter and realize that I am so very blessed beyond words that it leaves me breathless. I now know what TRUE LOVE is!



So, in honor of our one month anniversary as Mother & Daughter, we decided to celebrate by taking a trip to KID'S STOP for some FUN & GAMES! We were met there by my three beautiful kids that I love so much, Emma, Abi and Sam!

This is a picture of Emma , Abi and Sam with their new nanny Lacey! She was SOO GOOD to call me today to let me know they'd be down at Kid's Stop! THANKS LACEY!!! I HAD SO MUCH FUN & LOVED SEEING MY BABIES AGAIN!!!!! I MISS THEM SOOOOOO MUCH!!!

My girls are taking gymnastics & they like to show off their moves! Poor Ruby wasn't into it, there were TOYS TO BE PLAYED WITH! ;)

It was SO MUCH FUN & Ruby REALLY enjoyed herself IN A BIG WAY! Especially once she got into the 'ball pit' and THEN THERE WAS NO TURNING BACK!!!! =)










After a long day of playing, the only thing left to do is to curl up in the playpen with Bear and our new fuzzy friend 'Christmas Moose', a wonderful gift from Auntie Jane, THANKS AUNTIE JANE FOR MY NEW FRIEND!



The three of us curled up for a nice toasty nap! WHAT A WONDERFUL WAY FOR MOMMA AND ME TO CELEBRATE ONE MONTH SINCE GOT'CHA DAY!!!!!!! YIPPEEEEEE!!!!!

Macgyver's GOT NOTHIN' ON ME!

Sure he can make a bomb out of duct tape, some toothpicks & a balloon, BUT CAN HE DO THIS WITH JUST A PAIR OF SCISSORS & A SUPER HUGE GLUE STICK?@$%#$% I THINK NOT! Alas, if only I had my own kewl THEME MUSIC! (Jack's Big Music Show theme music playing currently, courtesy of Noggin on cable, MY DAUGHTER'S NEW FAVORITE SHOW EVER!) It's cute but after about 1,000,000,000...etc times of seeing it, SOMEONE PLEASE SHOW SOME MERCY & TOSS MY ASS UNDER A BUS! Thank you, come again! ANYWAY,
back to our regularly scheduled program... my new friend & fellow blogger Donna asked the blogger population in general & mainly the adoptive bloggers per say, to participate in her 100 good wishes scrapbook she's putting together for her future daughter Lauren Elizabeth. I received the scrapbooking items in the mail today & although I am quite creative & talented in my own right, I must admit I've NEVER ONCE DONE ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE! I prefer working with Polymer Clay... hence my Bears For Love business. Anyhoo, I was happy to give this a go & MAN WAS THIS ALOT OF FUN! I tried to make it look like a wrapped gift ( after all it is christmas time...) and I just did my best to make it unique in it's own way. I did make one teenie tiny spelling error but I'm pretty sure Lauren will forgive me for that eventually! ;)

I LOVE MY DOG!!!!!!!!

My dog is THE BEST! Ebenezer and I have become best buddies! He plays with me & keeps me safe, and even sometimes lets me use his back for leverage when I'm trying to walk! WHAT A GUY! So this post is dedicated to my big brother EBENEZER! I love him SOOOO MUCH!




I think the only down side to him playing with me all the time is that he gets tired pretty easily & Momma said that he's an old dog (10 human years so I guess that makes him older than dirt? I dunno but Momma says it's old!)

I love him though, so when he wants to take a nap I just figure that maybe I should take one too & then we'll both wake up refreshed & READY TO PLAY SOME MORE!!!!!!!!!!! =)

Uncle Andrew & Aunt Catherine!!!

Today was fun! I got to meet my Uncle Andrew finally!



He was alot of fun & he even saw me take my VERY FIRST STEP ALL BY MYSELF! Granted it was only one step but IT WAS MY STEP! =) And BOTH HE AND MOMMA SAW IT! hee hee I was so PROUD of myself! (Momma's in trouble soon, I'm gonna just start RUNNING EVERYWHERE!)



I was being very silly with Uncle Andrew and showing off big time!

He seemed to love it though so it was fun! I even let him watch my favorite show "Jack's Big Music Show' on Noggin! Uncle Andrew and Momma both sang to me it was really great! =)

Then my Nonno and Nanna watched me while Momma went over to Uncle Andrew's house for dinner with his family & I was asleep by the time Momma and Aunt Catherine got here...



But they DID come into my room while I was sleeping so that Aunt Catherine could see that yes, I truly am here for real, cute as can be & sound asleep. =) Really, I just can't wait till I can meet my Aunt Catherine in PERSON WHILE I'M AWAKE! That should be a lot of fun! Especially since she's the reason for my middle name, Cate! ( Cate is in honor of Aunt Catherine!) So she MUST BE PRETTY SPECIAL IF I'M NAMED AFTER HER! Maybe tomorrow she'll come over & we can have a play date! =)

11:53pm UPDATE: Well, tomorrow didn't necessarily have to arrive for me to meet my Aunt Catherine. It's funny how when one misses their daytime nap, how that same person can just all of a sudden WAKE RIGHT UP at 11PM! Aunt Catherine was STILL HERE THANKFULLY and HEYYYY HERE I AM!!!!!!! So I finally met her & even though I was really OVER tired, I still managed to be GOOFY AND SILLY & GIGGLE & LAUGH & SMILE at her & I hope I put on a half decent show. She seemed to like it well enough but it was PAINFULLY OBVIOUS TO BOTH HER AND MOMMA that I was in some DESPERATE NEED OF MORE SLEEP~! So back to bed I went & I just wanted to let everyone know that even in my half concious state, I STILL WAS FUNNY AS HELL & QUITE ENTERTAINING! I hope to hang out with my Aunt Catherine again soon, maybe not tomorrow as she's pretty wiped out from me keeping her UP SO LATE TONIGHT! I don't think anyone expected me to WAKE UP WHEN I DID! But hey, spit happens. =)

MET MY GODPARENTS TODAY!!!

Today was a VERY SPECIAL DAY because it was the FIRST TIME EVER I MET MY GODPARENTS AUNTIE JEN AND UNCLE ELVIS!!!!!!!!! I loved them both very much but I'm a BIG FAN OF MALES so I was TOTALLY DIGGIN' THE KING! He and I walked around the apartment FOREVER until I literally TIRED HIM OUT! It was fun... I can't wait to see them again!




Auntie Jen brought Momma a special book titled " The Best Single Mother In the World" it looks cute & if I wasn't so busy right now playing with my grandparents I'm sure Momma would read it to me, however back to the 'loving men' thing, I'm playing with Nonno and can't be bothered to sit with Momma & listen to a book, maybe tomorrow! =)
