Wow, I bet you can't even believe it's been a whole year since you set out on this incredible trip to get your Ruby. I hope you'll post more about your adventure - and the day you got her, of course!

It's pretty surreal to think that as I type this, one year ago I wasn't typing a damn thing as I was stuck in a big tin bird for THIRTY PLUS HOURS! Insane the things we'll do for love. ;)

Monday will really be the tear jerker, one whole year since first holding my baby in my arms... seems hard to believe but amazingly dreams do come true... and mine is currently sleeping peacefully in the next room.
That is so sweet... can't wait to get on that plane myself someday!
Congrats!! For some reason, I thought you had traveled to meet Ruby before we did to meet Emma... guess it just seems like she's been with your forever! I have to say, looking at the pics from Nov. 2005, I think she's one of the babies who has changed the least - probably because she already had all that gorgeous hair!
